DCP Alum Rock High School opened its doors in Fall 2013 and was quickly recognized at the local and national level. In the Spring of 2015, they were national winners in Samsung’s Solve For Tomorrow STEM Competition. This school year, 55% of students are enrolled in one of three levels of engineering courses, our soccer team is a two-time Battle of the Den champs, and we are home to the only Mock Trial Team in East San José.

“Despite peoples’ low expectations for me, I often wonder how in the world I made it. Mine was not a linear path, but I learned how to navigate the systems to get myself to and through college, and I want to help teachers help students do the same. DCP embodies my educational philosophy: personalizing the high school experience for students while holding high expectations. I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing community.”
