DCP Alum Rock Middle School is a free, college prep, public charter school serving San Jose.

Launched in Fall 2011, we are a close-knit community that has worked together to create a learning environment that helps students and their families chart a course for college beginning in 6th grade. We are the first and only middle school in East San José to be named a California School to Watch model school in 2017 & 2019 by the CA League of Schools. We are located in the Alum Rock Union School District and serve grades 6-8.

“My entire life connects to DCP’s mission. I am a Latina, first-generation college graduate and I give thanks to my mentor who helped me see the road less traveled by Latinos. I believe my purpose in life is to give back and help students like me find the road to success.”
